There is no hot nightlife in Ao Wai Beach. This is rather calm for you to have a lovely and relaxing holiday during your stay here. The nightlife is instead at Ao Phai beach or Sai Kaew beach further north on the island where you can take you for an evening through the song thaew if you want to shake the loss to the thumping music.
Then Ao Wai Beach is a small and quiet beach is teeming with it is not of the restaurants here. But fear not, there are foods that satisfy your hunger! On Samed Wanted to resorts Chom Talay Restaurant, you can sit down at a table outside at the beach to enjoy good thai food and a lovely view! Here you can order a light lunch or pizza, or maybe just quench your thirst with a refreshing watermelon shake.
Rent a sea kayak at the Samet Ville Resort for around 250 Baht per hour and paddle out to the new snorkelling, or take you to other beaches to see what's waiting there. Do you want to stay on dry land you can also rent a bike at the hotel for 500 Baht a day to explore the island in this way. Drive carefully only, then the roads on Koh Samet is not the best.
At the Ao Wai Beach, there are no shopping, in addition to the small minimarten available at the Samed Ville Resort. Are you eager to make some new purchases and bargains, it is Sai Kaew beach you are going to take you to. This beach is located on the island's northeast coast and hit you with the help of song thaew, or so it takes you a long walk between the beaches up to the city.

You can rent a canoe at the hotel, you can also paddle out a bit longer to see if you come across any other cool coral reefs and fish around the island. Do you feel like to book a snorkelling trip by speedboat, you can do this at the hotel, where a day trip costs from about 400 Baht per person. You can also book a speedboat here for 300 Baht per person to take you to the Ban Phe, faster than thought!
