Ao Sang Thian Beach is a quiet beach that doesn't have any nightlife to offer. Instead, it is concentrated to the two beaches on the island, Ao Phai Beach and Haad Sai Kaew Beach. At the Ao Tian Beach, you can get something good to drink at the Best Bar by Roger with views of the beach and the sea.
It is teeming with neither of the restaurants on the beach, but the restaurant at the hotel serves thai food at the dining area by the beach. Take something to eat and drink and enjoy the views out over the sea and towards the great Loong Dam beach.

If heights don't scare you, you can embark on a parasailing-tour to experience life from a bird's point of view. The party goes on around 900 Baht. Would you rather take it easy, you can rent a canoe for 150 Baht per hour to explore the area around the beach or perhaps take you to other beaches. At Ao Sang Thian beach there is a minimart called Fresh, which is similar to 7-Eleven, where you can buy something good to chew on or sit down at one of the computers to surf around on the net for 2 Baht per minute. Around Ao Thian Beach there is no good snorkeling right near the beach. Instead, it is better to book a snorkelling trip by speedboat to experience the nice and cool coral reefs in the clear water. These tours are available to book at the beach and costs 400 Baht per person for a tour around Koh Samet and 600 Baht per person to visit the four nearby islands.
