 Picturesque Khlong Yai Kee waterfall is located in northern part of Koh Kood, on a way to not less picturesque Soneva Kiri Koh Kood, To a falls is laid the concrete road, and last meters you will walking downwards on abrupt steps.
Klong Yai Kee on Koh Kood is full the year round, except for a dry season (February - April). In a place of falling of water there is a spacious pool perfect for bathing and swimming. This ideal place to wait afternoon heat, and to absorb in itself I skin mountain water.

 Khlong Yai Kee waterfall

 Smaller than the Klong Chao Waterfall , but definitely worth paying a visit, is Klong Yai Kee Waterfall which is also spelled sometimes as Klong Yai Ki. Located in the North West of Koh Kood and a nice spot for swimming. Just follow the road that leads to Soneva Kiri , Bann Makok or Captain Hook Resort and you'll see the signs on your right.
To reach up falls is rather simple - follow to the north on a main road aside Captian Hook Resort, and not reaching hotel turn to the right on the sign. Here there is a parking. Further to you will be come to go down downwards abrupt steps, and a rope handrail, as ropes of the trees tense between trunks will help you. The picturesque falls is surrounded with magnificent tropical vegetation, and water really freshens. You can also enter the Klong Yai Kee Canal by kayak coming from Klong Yai Kee Bay and from the canal it's a walk of 200m. It's a beautiful trip
Here it is deep enough, and if you the present daredevil - that can jump downwards from stone rock. To pass to top of a falls it is possible on the top track or to get on rocks in left part Клонг Яй Ки.
If you came with children - not a trouble, by them too is where to be expiated. Go down downstream some tens meters where there are spacious and superficial pools, quite suitable for bathing kids. To visit a falls it is the best way in second half of day when temperatures are especially high. Pass to a falls free-of-charge. |
