 How to Get to Haad Gruad beach
|
 The journey to the beach is almost more enjoyable than the beach itself. Haad Kruad is to the North of Haad Yao beach and has path linked it with Haad Salad via Cookies Salad Resort.
From Thogsala port a taxi fare should be 200 baht/per one way. Around the beach you also can rent a motorbike or car.
There are two ways to ride Haad Kruad:
- from Thonsala port along Koh Phangan west coast. This way is more tiresome;
- the road starts from Thong Sala's Tesco Lotus. Follow the road and turn left at T-intersection to Sri Thanu village. Next T-junction (with fresh fruit market and 7-eleven on it) turn right. Continue straight till signs 'Cookies Salad Resort and Lucky Resort' from your left side. This easy way is the more free traffic and the most short. |

Haad Gruad Beach Facilities |
 Sun loungers, chairs and hammocks for use can be found in resorts only. The most popular place for sun-bathing is around a swimming pools at Lucky resort and Dragon Hut resort.
There are no sun beds or umbrellas for hire; no beach vendors to disturb you. Make sure to take your own towels/deck chairs to sit on. |

 With a stunning sea view and laid back atmosphere, Lucky Resorts’s restaurant serves basic Thai and popular western dishes at the reasonable prices. Well-established eatery with a Thai and Western style seating offering a wide range of menu from tasty breakfast, try their signature khao-tom-goong(rice soup with shrimps) and pan-fried noodles with gravy to a selection of sandwiches, seafood salads and traditional Thai fare. Haad Gruad Beach Activities |
 It is ideal place for swimming all year round even at low tidal season. Kayaking
Snorkeling here is any seasons. One of Koh Phangan’s most beautiful sites, the sea here absolutely defines the colour turquoise, especially arount the rocky tip in front of Lucky Resort where marine life is abundant.
There also is a good fishing spot here. Locals fishermans will be happy to show you the best fishing spots. You can find fishing tours advertised in Haad Yao as well as in the main town of Thongsala...
