 Haad Rin Nai (sunset) beach is more peaceful and a lot of hotels at low prices, but the beach is not nearly as pretty as his next door neighbour. Sandy strip is much smaller and more narrow, and the sand is generally rude not to mention the depth at the shore - here are not deep, more suitable for kids games, but not for swimming, especially in the area of the coral reef located near the southern tip, about 60 meters from the beach.
The most of hotels and resorts are lined the north part of Haad Rin Nai beach and you'll find clusters of hotels either right on or near to these idllyic strands. Haad Rin Nai beach resorts enjoy great sunsets, privacy and tranquility while FMP beachfront hotels is preferable for fun and nightlife fans. |

 Haad Rin Nai beach is divided into two halves by a small ferry pier where boats from Samui are operated. The beach itself is not very wide, especially during the high tide, while the southern part is not very convenient for sunbathing, so as to be near the pier and at the shore is pretty much garbage.
The mountainous landscape surrounding the beach is breathtaking and covered with granite boulders that lie even in the sea along Sunset beach. From Haad Rin pier the road leads to the town where you can find a great number restaurants, bars, cafes, banks, clothes shops, tattoo studios, travel shops, few pharmacies, taxi operators and full equipped Jungle Gym with Thai boxing, yoga and pilates. |

 In finding for tranquillity in Haad Rin beach is better to stay in town or on less cute Haad Rin Nai (sunset) beach, where the cost of accomodation is much lower, or preferably in Haad Seekantang beach hotels or even on other Koh Phangan beaches.

 Don't expect to see in Haad Rin Nok authentic Thai beach, most likely you will see hordes of young Western tourists, day overflowing streets and restaurants, watching movies in bars and waiting for nightfall, when it would again be a fun party.
