Koh Lanta Beaches Guide

Where to Stay in Koh Lanta
|
In fact, Koh Lanta beaches have all - and sea is emerald and sand is white, and scenery is gorgeous and people are nice, you will love the atmosphere of the island, you will be fine there. Koh Lanta west coast is one long beach line which really gives you the feeling of complete isolation from civilization, without inconveniences associated with remoteness from mainland. Even during the high season (december to april) it is always easy to find a beautiful and quiet beach.
Most of the hotels and resorts along the 25-km Koh Lanta's western coast built from natural materials and a nice blend with the environment. In fact, Koh Lanta never crowded with travelers like Koh Phi Phi island, Koh Samui or Phuket. |
The main road runs parallel to the beaches along Koh Lanta west coast and here you will find the majority of restaurants, shops and services, as well as enters to resorts and hotels. If you need to go somewhere this is the place where you can catch a local taxi, rent motorbike and car. During the high season work almost all venues but many of them are closed at the end of this time.
Two of the most northern Koh Lanta's beaches is closest to ferry pier and Baan Saladan village, main town of the island, so that in the end they are the most populated areas with highest number of hotels, resorts, restaurants, bars and shops. Of course 'full' Koh Lanta far from world standards, but nevertheless these small villages are quite popular places of recreation. The beaches in the central part of the island - Klong Khong beach, Klong Nin beach and Klong Hin beach tend to attract budget travelers and those looking for full privacy.
Farther south offers relax popular with western tourists who prefer peace and privacy. The beaches in far southern end of Koh Lanta near Moo Koh Lanta National Park most remote and the most untouched by man. Here you can find scattered around the shores hotels and resorts, designed for wealthy holiday makers. The clear winner in luring visitors is 5 star Pimalai Resort that offers to its guests to soak up silence of surrounding nature and five star luxury that you would expect from a resort of this class. |
