 How to Get to Klong Jark beach
|
 Klong Jark beach is located in the southwest part of Koh Lanta island and is 40-45 min by taxi from Ban Saladan. The road in this area is already finished and to get to Waterfall beach on your own - you don't need to rent a four-wheel auto/moto.
Road passing far from the beach, connected with it some roads and paths. Ride by motorbike down to the beach is possible in several places. |

Klong Jark (Waterfall) beach |
 Long less than a kilometer - Klong Jark beach is quite wide and surrounded on both sides by high rocky tips, slightly bent inwards. This natural shield is a good protection against high waves, so in the bay most time of the year the sea is always calm and perfect for swim. Coral reef and the stones are placed along the edges of the bay and the central area of Klong Jark is mainly used for swimming.

The set of amenities for a beach holiday in Klong Jark usually meets the needs of the guests of the bay staying in this part of Koh Lanta. Sea kayaking, snorkelling is not a problem. In the bay area about an hour's trekking is the only Lanta's waterfall, visit the better during the high season at a different time visit to waterfall will give you only disappointment. On the same route you can explore the caves or take elephant ride through the jungle. But nevertheless - the beach and surroundings still have a lazy holiday in the hammock with a book in your hand.

Waterfall beach has at least three resorts and each has a restaurant, so what-no, and the choice you will have.
As an alternative you can visit the northern beaches where you will know more about Thai and international food. There are beach bars in the northern and southern ends of the Klong Jark beach which are open mainly in high season.
