Koh Lanta archipelago consists of more than 50 Islands, most without sandy beaches, while others are used for nesting birds. The other is a magical paradise islands full of stunning natural attractions, which retained its primeval person, under the protection of the Marine National Park. Any kind of human activity aimed at intramoenia natural resources is strictly prohibited in these areas.
Getting to these islands is now extremely easy. Enough to buy a boat tour on Koh Lanta, or rent a private boat or speedboat. This page contains a brief overview of each island.

Majority of Thai people call this island - Koh Ngai, but the locals know it by the name of Koh Hai. Tropical paradise that is closest to Koh Lanta's east coast. Koh Ngai is covered with lush green tropical forests, isolated romantic beaches and has a reef a few miles, which goes around the island. On the beach there are only five resorts, making it a paradise tiny place feel spacious and deserted.

Koh Mook in size a little more than Koh Ngai and is located in five kilometers to the south-east and known to most travelers through Morakot cave. But in fact the island more interesting, if you look at the beaches and the natural environment is rich in surface and underwater world where you can even meet the sea cows. On the island live a few muslim communities involved in the cultivation of coconuts, rubber and fishing. Travel time to Trang pier takes about 15 minutes 9 (km). The island has two resorts.

Koh Kradan Island |
Where is Koh Kradan island? In Trang province, Thailand to the south of Koh Lanta, close to Koh Libong island, Koh Mook island and Koh Ngai. Koh Kradan is very small island (a total space of 240 acres) with stunning beauty beach with white powdery sand stretching along Kradan's eastern coast. The island is about 3 km long and its shallow water coral and tropical fish make it a popular site for snorkeling.
Usually tourists come here only for one day with the other islands but generally this paradise can be yours for a few days to withdraw from the world. A good solution would be to come here with a tent to spend a few days living out in nature, away from civilization. The backpackers is the place value and love.
Most Koh Kradan's lands belongs to Haad Chao Mai National Park while some parts belong to private sectors. Though there is neither a village nor roads on the island.

Koh Jum Island |
Koh Jum Island, also known as Koh Pu (Crab island) is located in the Andaman sea, 25 km south from Krabi. The mountainous northern part (Koh Pu) is quite rocky and filled with tiny rubber plantations and dense jungle. The highest point is Pu mountain (395 m), while the southern part of Koh Jum relatively uniform and covered with natural vegetation of the Andaman coast, trees causarina and coconut palms. The West coast is covered with 6 beautiful rarely bursting beaches, where basically there are numerous hotels and resorts.

Koh Rock Islands - Diving and Snorkelling |
Koh Rok islands are located south of Koh Lanta in the hours by speedboat and are actually two islands-twin - Koh Nok and Koh Nai - separated from each other by a narrow strait. The islands are part of the Marine National Park and lie a few miles from the state border of Thailand. On the islands no one lives except for a few rangers. Entirely without human intervention these two small islands are the perfect place for diving at shallow depths where the large number of underwater gardens of hard and soft corals. Islands are covered with virgin jungle, have the beautiful beaches and incredibly beautiful underwater world as well as the perfect place for snorkelling. The average underwater visibility is about 30 meters. |

Koh Ha Islands - Diving and Snorkeling |
The tropical paradise - Koh Ha islands lie between Phi Phi island and Hin Daeng not far from Koh Lanta.
Here are just five small islets (Ha - translated from Thai means - 5); there is a small beach; a good place for diving and snorkelling; The group of five small islands is under the supervision of Mu Koh Lanta National Marine Park. |

Hin Daeng & Hin Muang |
Hin Daeng and Hin Muang (red rock and purple rock, respectively), two small underwater towers which lay to the south-west of Ko Lanta. Hin Daeng (Red rock) is a few hundred meters south of Hin Muang dive site (south from the Phi Phi Islands ) and can be easily reached by boat from Phuket. Only low the tip of this huge underwater tower sticking out of the water. Divers visiting in recent years this is the place were awarded magical acquaintance with whale sharks and other large flocks of fish and predators in this region.
