 How to Get to Chai Chet beach
|
 Chai Chet beach resort is located on Koh Chang's west coast, in the Northern part of Klong Prao bay. This beach is located a hundred meters from the main road, 25 min by taxi Centrepoint ferri pier.
The main road around the Chai Chet village, due to the presence in this location on the island several modern resorts, received a rich infrastructure including shops, minimarkets, restaurants, bars, cafes, markets, travel agencies, pharmacies, ATMs and more. |

The Beach |
 This beach is located between Khai Mook and Klong Prao in the Central part of the Koh Chang island. In the Northern end of the Chai Chet beach indicated a low rocky tip extending into the sea from Chai Chet resort and around you can attempt to explore the underwater world of Koh Chang. In front of the resort you will find a small pier mainly serving the tour boats and big-boats go to nearby islands and snorkeling tours.
The sandy strip of soft sand begins near Coconut Beach Resort smoothly curving stretches to the south resting in a wide freshwater canal on the opposite bank of which was nestled 5 stars Panviman Resort. The beach is surrounded by lush tropical greenery, offering plenty of shady places and in the evenings there is a great place for sundowners. The beach is the most extensive in the southern part of being an ideal spot to play volleyball, football or flying saucer. |
Chai Chet beach Facilities |
 In Chai Chet beach you won't need to rent a beach chair, beach umbrella or search for shower and toilet. All the facilities available on the beach are free of charge for guests of the resorts. If you're not a guest, free sun loungers you can find at the southern end where there are two popular beach restaurant: Lay Lay Tong and Palm beach.
Surrounding ourselves with such pleasant trifles these restaurants standing in the cool shade of Casuarina trees, never suffer from lack of customers. There is also free wi-fi and a toilet. |

 Beach vendors in Chai Chet strolling along the popular shore do not offer food and drinks. Typically the menu of these itinerant merchants you'll find handicrafts, small souvenirs, textiles, silk scarves, necklaces and various jewelry and other small trifles.
All vendors fun and friendly and rarely cause irritation. If you are not interested in the beach shopping, two words: Mai Au (translation: not need or do not want) should send beach peddler somewhere far away.... |

 In Chai Chet you will find some good hotels, of which it is worth mentioning Chai Chet Resort, Coconut Beach Resort and Koh Chang Paradise Resort. The last two are right in front of sandy strip, and first settled on the stone tip, and to get to the beach you will have to make a light, minute stroll. However, Chai Chet resort has a large swimming pool with pool bar and a superb restaurant with views of Klong Prao bay. Other resort in this area is the Koh Chang Resort, offers a variety of accommodation options. Here along the entire stretch of beach between Koh Chang Resort Klong Prao Resort you will find three or four good restaurants and beach bars.
Hundred meters from the beach stretches Koh Chang main road and opposite the Coconut Beach resort is situated V. J. Plaza shopping complex filled with restaurants, shops, ATMs, cafes, beauty salons and travel agencies. The right hand of the entrance is bank where you can exchange currency. The exchanger is open until late. Further down the road stretched the line of stalls with fruit and ready street food. In the evening you can buy kebabs, grilled chicken, seafood BBQ and other local delicacies, including sweets. Just South V. J. Plaza is another shopping complex - Coconut Plaza. And again, shops, restaurants, kafe and massage parlors. Tesco Lotus Express, 7/11 and pharmacy are also located here. In short, no matter where you stay in Chai Chet beach you will be surrounded by sea and beach from one side and on the other Koh Chang main road with all modern temptations.
