 Bang Bao, as known by name Siam beach is well protected place, surrounded with jungle hills - one of the most beautiful places on Koh Kood island. Bang Bao are rather spacious, many, and in a southern part has no in general, any development, except for several bungalows nestled behind the beach, on a slope of a hill.
Visitors usually walk up and down along the beach, in searches of shady places. which here really does not suffice - high palm trees give only a shadow in the morning, creating fascinating pictures on a surface of water. As to sunsets - from Bang Bao beach is visible only their echo reflected in the sky above southern cape of a bay.

 How to Get Bang Bao beach (Siam beach) - Koh Kood
|
 To reach Bang Bao is possible on main road of Koh Kood, stretched with the north on the south. The road will have sign to Siam Beach Resort. Reliable concrete way smoothly leaving downwards, will lead you to the shore. Be careful - last meters of road are rather dangerous (stones).
To get a bay also possible turned aside The Beach Natural Resort Koh Kood - but this way more a duty and difficult, and you will drive on dirty road. If you travel on Koh Kood by a speed boat, and in your plans to stop in Bang Bao, you will deliver in a bay, and will land on one of piers. |

Haad Bang Bao beach - Koh Kood |
 Wide enough strip, soft snow-white sand strech from north to south, also occupies 2\3 a bay, actually beginning from Siam Beach Resort. In northern part Bang Bao, opposite The Beach Natural Resort Koh Kood there is a small beach, but it is artificial, and visitors of this resort for acceptance of sun or for a solitude, frequently visited in a southern part Bang Bao, the blessing of a place here is enough. Coastal feature is smoothly bent by a half moon, dividing these resorts a small stone ridge to bypass which it is possible easily on specially laid footpath.
Water in Bang Bao beach crystal-clear, also changes the color depending on time of day and from weather. Beach everywhere finely, and further downturn of a bottom insignificant, allowing to swim in the sea even to small kids. In water no have stones and  sharp corals. Along shore, opposite to each of resorts sun beds and umbrellas for guest are established. Further to the south on a beach there are lonely benches and chairs. During low tide sandy strip becomes rather wide, allowing to play on the beach in football. Sometimes into a bay come on spending the night fishing boats.
There are two wooden piers in the bay. One opposite The Beach Natural Resort Koh Kood, another near Siam Beach Resort. The southern part of a beach, which also suffers from shortage of vegetation, rests against rather deep fresh-water channel created by the river. Earlier to get other side you need used kayak, now, in 2012, here buit wooden bridge. The channel also serves as good alternative to sea water, is a good place for swimming. |
