Loh Moo Dee Bay

Small Loh Moo Dee bay is located on the east coast of Koh Phi Phi in south part of the island. This is an isolated private beach, the coconut plantation deep in the bay. There are no hotels and other infrastructure inherent to other Koh Phi Phi beaches - deserted beach is decorated with cute hut, a few chairs and a sign saying that you are on private property.

Loh Moo Dee approximately 250 meters long of fine white sand caressed by the warm emerald water, many shaded areas, as well as the views Krabi's southern coast and Koh Jum island on the horizon. In this tropical paradise is always uncrowded, not counting the elderly islanders living on this shore and flocks of wild monkeys.

How to Get to Loh Moh Dee bay

In Loh Moo Dee bay can be reached both by boat and by foot.

There are two overland route:

the first begins near Koh Phi Phi main viewpoint in Tonsai village. A wide dirt road stretches south along east coast of the island, passing through the local countryside and a huge artificial reservoir for collecting fresh (rain) water, ending near Long beach. The way will take you 50 minutes, a fairly easy and informative.


The second route runs along Tonsai east beach and at the fork near Viking Nature Resort - guide will serve as a huge Budda head carved from a stump, you will need to go right, up the hill then down and you on the spot.

If you are staying on Long beach - walk to Loh Moo Dee bay will take you only 10 minutes.
