 Laem Tong Beach is a delightful place at the northern end of Phi Phi island where you can arrange for yourself peaceful and relaxed holiday.  How to Get Laem Tong beach
|
 Travelling by boat from Tonsai village or back, with full occupancy will cost you 150 Bath per person (2014). In the self-boat rentals count on 1200 - 1500 Bath at one end, depending on the time of day. Every morning at 07:00 from Tonsai bay here comes the ferry. The journey time is about an hour, the price of 100 Bath/person.
Destination Air during the high season perform daily flights from Phuket directly to Laem Tong Beach. Flights run from Phuket to 4 times a day and back three times. Every year this type of transport is becoming more popular.
There is the overland route to Laem Tong beach it is fairly not difficult and is designed for all ages. The path starts in the eastern part of the Loh Dalum bay near Hinpoo bugalow then a half hour on the shady rainforest, 10-15 min through Loh Ba Kao bay and 20 minutes along the coast in a convenient sidewalk which ends near Holiday Inn Phi Phi Island.
The other way is more difficult starts near Tonsai viewpoint. Next you need to get out on the road, head to the left following the directions for Rantee beach it don't need to go down - you go on to Phak Nam beach. The trail goes along the shore of the hill. The shady path with a slope towards the north. Go down - before you Phak Nam beach and Relax The Beach Resort. Go the beach and along the shore leave in the southern part of Loh Ba Kao bay. Then go to the northern end of the bay, cross the bridge through the mangrove channel and forth on the sidewalk in Laem Tong beach. This route will take you an hour and a half. The Beach |
Laem Tong beach is the location of some world-class resorts ranging from very possible (in prices) to high-end stay that are at a decent distance from each other, giving its guests the atmosphere of complete privacy and exclusive ambience for relaxation.
The seabed near the beach of uniform depth at least up to a hundred meters until you begin corals gradually turning into a big colorful reef slowly decreasing in depth.

At Phi Phi Natural resort is a small mini-market: beach wear, souvenirs and necessities.

Laem Tong beach Restaurants |
 Jasmine BBQ, perhaps the most popular restaurant on the beach thanks to a combination of delicious food, cheap prices and great atmosphere. The number of tables is limited and if you want here to dinner order immediately a table for the evening during lunch. Open all day, the restaurant offers a menu of Thai dishes and a daily fish catch.
About Holiday Inn is pretty expensive Chaba Seafood offering fresh seafood laid out for the best choice of dishes on ice. Just down the beach is Sawadeе restaurant belonging to the PP Erawan Palms Resort. A great banquet right on the beach! |

Laem Tong beach Attractions |
 - Loh Bakao bay viewpoint. 200 metre climb starts to the left of Aroi Dee restaurant. Just cross the bridge before you restaurant and left a few steps begins stage dirt trail.
The path to the top will take you from 20 to 30 minutes, depending on the physical training. Flip-flops, it is desirable to replace it with a more robust shoes. On the way up, expect spectacular views Loh Lanah bay and some views of Loh Ba Kao. |

Laem Tong beach Activities |
 Laem Tong Beach is quite serene place however there are some active steps that can make your heart beat a little more. Warm, soothing water and consistent wind excellent for windsurfing, which can be rented at any resort.
Amplimite a little further from the shore and you will discover excellent places to snorkel. In the Northern end of the beach, in front of Phi Phi Natural Resort is a wide coral reef, which can easily run especially during low tides.
You can rent a boat to explore the nearby Islands - Bamboo island and Mosquito island, beaches are stunning and the snorkeling is amazing, just don't forget to stipulate at once time, with the owner of the boat, which will be gladly provided!
 For those who are interested in diving, the beach has at least two diving centres offering courses and the most interesting underwater.
Before sunset on the beach you can find local residents, employees of resorts and leisure, playing football or volleyball. If there is a desire - you can always join. |

Laem Tong beach Nightlife |
 Sunset Satay bar in the Holiday Inn is really something...and just 10 minutes walk along the beach on comfortable and well-lit path. The facility looks more like a beer garden (only more expensive), with magnificent sea views in a westerly direction.
Jasmine BBQ restaurant after dark becomes the busiest place on the quiet shores and the beach shack is filled with fun atmosphere. |
