Idyllic adjacent gulfs Thong Nai Pan Noi and Thong Nai Pan Yai, located in a northeast part Koh Phangan, approximately in 13 km from Ban Tai village - are bays the twins forming a scenic double gulf, in the form of the letter "B", offering to visitors a picture of right tropical charm and as the most popular beaches in the east of Koh Phangan, where the sun ascends and new day begins. In the middle, having filled it is divided by a high rock on which one of the most great resort in a gulf - PANVIMAN RESORT is located, in the same place on a height there is an aquapark and a viewing platform with restaurant.
Thong Nai Pan Noi, northern of these brothers, has easier atmosphere while Yai still it is not sold out to tourists, but lacks a rural atmosphere of Noi beach . The place is rather popular at having a rest in spite of the fact that here it is difficult to reach by the ground.
White sand, clean water - make this lagoon by a fine place for swim and relax. Both beaches are similar to the image of a paradise place, with softly bent lagoons surrounded with mountains, covered with a dense tropical wood and snow-white beaches. Mountains around of a gulf make these coast rather inaccessible, the unique overland road, with steep slopes and descents and pitted dirty (In the beginning 2010г, through mountain jungle, the earth road there conducted to pass on which it was possible only on an off-road car or bike) here conducts; though road works on construction of a concrete way are already conducted.

Count on at least a 45-minute ride/drive and if you take a song teaow taxi make sure that it is heading for the right Thong Nai Pan beach – not all go to both beaches.
In 2011 here made good road, starting on halfway till the beaches. Other way to reach here, more expensive, by sea, from beaches Haad Rin or Caloklum.
In coastal waters you will not find coral reef, and it is possible to float on both beaches, it is given the year round though Thong Nai Pan Noi is considered the best, as it more more deeply and is richer with representatives of the sea world. From active kinds of rest, here prefer surfing, walks on kayak , volleyball and walks.
In local village are some decent bars and restaurants where tourists like to gather in the evenings, beholding each other, instead of a sunset. But in the mornings, many rise before rising and patiently wait, when the sun will come up from the sea.
Thong Nai Pan Yai is longer, from these two beaches, resorts here are more stretched, and on coast there is no village, in result this beach is most silent, than its native brother. Here there are the numerous tracks quite suitable to walks and travel, falls and as there is the decent choice of rocks suitable to skilled climbers.
This part of island still enough wild, and nearby jungle are a shelter for many exotic tropical essences. Huge water lizards, speak by Thai - "Takuad", it is possible to notice them in Panviman Resort, on sunset when they start to be fed, and small wild cats frequently steal a martch on you.
In Thong Nai Pan is possible to find accomodation for all tastes and the budget. Thong Nai Pan Noi basically offers luxorios hotels, with all convenience, while neighbour Yai usuallly for budget tourists and those who has decided to be late for a long time on island. Cheap beach bungalows, abound three- five stars resorts, one of which is located at top of the cape dividing beaches, and by several average variants...
Restaurants on these two beaches tend to aspire to a simple architectural genre, from a bamboo and straw, served seafoods BBQ or the western meal of a standard sample, or that and another together. There are even dishes of cuisine of northeast Thailand (Isan) in the small dining rooms offering as chicken BBQ with sticky rice, and these esteblishments are completely not difficult for finding on coast.
If you being in Thong Nai Pan Noi and Yai, have decided to engage in shopping, you have chosen a wrong place. Koh Phangan - not the best place for shopping in Thailand, and Thong Nai Pan Noi and Yai beaches - is approximately in the bottom line of a shopping - rating of island.
Sleepy in day and hardly less in the evenings, the night life in Thong Nai Pan Noi is stretched on both sides of road, along the main rural broadway. Basically, restaurants suggest more than dancing music, that, so to say, public would leave a sleeping status.
