 Haad Khuad beach more known as a Bottle Beach, is one of the most known vacation spots on island and some kind of Mecca for old admirers of Koh Phangan and fans for a long time to jam in this place, for example on couple of weeks, and even it is more.
To reach a beach is the best way by a boat. All depends on weather on the sea, therefore it is better to you to take advantage of a sea taxi from Chaloklum when the sea is quiet enough.
Bottle beach from Haad Khom (Сoral bay) separate only 2.5км a mountain track on which it is possible to reach on foot or on a mountain bicycle, and it is desirable in dry weather.
Sea conditions will start to change sharply as soon as you will start to move from a beach in east direction. Corals to become it is less, a shelf of a bottom sharply there are strong sea currents.
Bottle Beach and next Thong Nai Pan - the most suitable vacation spots, even during a low season when here it is possible to enjoy swimming.

Beach here, cut in east part running into the sea by a rivulet, rather wide, and sand soft enough and completely white. In water absolutely there are no large stones, offering fine conditions for swim.
On shore is present four hotels. Practically all bungalow are in several steps from the beach. Restaurants on coast give the menu both Thai, and international. At two restaurants in the evenings show films. There are some shops offering all necessary for rest, and as numerous souvenirs . There is an Internet, an exchange of money, booking on other islands. It is possible to order a taxi or a boat on other beaches.
From productive leisure offer fishing, snorkelling, beach volleyball, kayak and the pedestrian campaigns to places of supervision over sunset. In east end of a beach if to rise on a hill (the top left picture), there is a view point.

In east end of a beach, about stone cape, in ten meters from shore there is a small coral reef. The mask and a tube can be rented on beach in any resort. But take care - depths here much more differ from the western coast of island, and the surf can is healthy to cripple you about rocks. |
