Haad Seekantang, also known by name Leela beach, is located on west part of peninsula Haad Rin , approximately at 10-15 min on foot from the city center. The long snow-white sand beach narrowed in some places, is rather popular place at many visitors of the island, preferring to conduct a rough night life, and to gain strength in the afternoon, in an environment of silence and rest graceful Leela, which protects this coast from noise FMP by a high hill.
In northern end there are thrickets mangrows trees, and some old and new resorts cosy nestled among magnificent greens and magnificent coconut palms. Thanks to its isolated site, the beach liked nudists in early days, in some of resort bungalows, the spirit of olв Koh Phangan still soars, and affinity Haad Rin will give to you all pleasures, shops, restaurants, 7/11, etc.
The gulf is little bit rocky in some places, and in the southern end there is a small coral reef.
As here there is a long floating pier.
Looking for calmnesses advise to accomodate in city or on less nice Haad Rin Nai beach (a beach of a sunset) where the prices for residing are much lower, or it is the best way - on other beaches of island...

Small town Haad Rin is small enough, and you will be also hour of walk enough to study all its streets and sois. Shops here appreciablly are cheaper, than in Samui, but are hammered by the same goods.
Nevertheless all this equally is pleasant, especial when you lower these prices even below, that will not tell about some expensive shops which have the fixed prices. Living here, you will find out a natural nonsense which can be found only in Haad Rin.
Well-known Full Moon Party in Haad Rin is yet all! All southern part of island "bright enough" and best place, in this part of Thailand, for pleasant spent of cheerful evenings, acceptance of good meal, to walks on bars and dances till the morning.
