 Facing south-west to Phi Phi Leh island is the popular Long Beach. Also known as the Had Yao this beach is covered with possibly the softest and most beautiful white sand and also offering its guests excellent snorkeling.
Markedly different from the main beaches of Koh Phi Phi - Tonsai Beach and Loh Dalum beach - Long beach actually having only advantages without the obvious disadvantages is considered one of the best and most popular beaches on Koh Phi Phi island.

 How to Get to Long beach, Koh Phi Phi Don
|
 Long beach is not far and not close to Tonsai Village, just 5 minutes by boat is a great argument that would stay there for a longer period.
During the day you can walk along the coast to Central Tonsai village, a convenient sidewalk seats going into the trail about half an hour. This way you can travel at night in the presence of the flashlight.
The boat travel from Tonsai beach is 100 Bath per person one way. Independent boat rental will cost you much more. And if you are looking for peace then a few days on the beach and local facilities will be able to meet all your needs, giving you some time to forget about the habit to move too much.

Long beach/Had Yao beach |
 Fantastically beautiful and longest Long beach is located in the southern part of Koh Phi Phi Don, on the east coast of Tonsai bay. Idyllic paradise with fantastic views of the Tonsai mountain peaks and Koh Phi Phi Leh island on emerald horizon, attracts with its beauty and peaceful atmosphere.
The beach begins near Viking Nature resort and a broad white strip of powdery sand stretches to the south ending near Phi Phi The Beach Resort. The entire length of the beach, a lot of shady trees and if you decide to sunbathe bring a mat or beach towel. Emerald waters are not deep, and the quiet nature of the sea makes Long Beach ideal spot vacation for families with small kids.
 From november to may sea uniformly and quietly, in the period from june to october begin high waves and swimming may not be safe, especially at low tides, due to rocks and corals.

Long Beach Facilities |
 Directly on the beach with no sun beds or umbrellas that you can rent - all of them are designed for guests of the resorts. In many places along the beach there are only chairs that are not very expensive.
Toilets can be found in hotels is not a problem.
Just a few steps from the beach in Phi Phi The Beach Resrtaurant have wifi. Several mini-markets on the banks offer basic and necessary goods.

Long Beach Restaurants |

Long beach Snorkeling |
 Snorkeling in long beach, probably the best on Koh Phi Phi. There is no need to swim very far to enjoy the colorful fish in their natural habitat. In addition, 100 metres from the beach Hin Phae rock which just peeps out of the water another name - Shark point.

Long beach Activities |

A little further, behind Long Beach face to the east is Ao Poh bay with a small beach offers excellent snorkeling.
Beside Long Island Divers shop a small path starts that will lead you to the beaches: Loh Moodee beach and Ao Poh beach, around 15 minutes by foot. Emerald waters of these beaches very quiet and peaceful in any weather.
Thai and many other types of massages in Long beach are also available in a small open pavilions, rates - approximately 300-400 Bath/hour. In some places you can

tattoos, dyed hair and etc.

Long Beach Nightlife |

The restaurant is usually full from 19:00 - 21:00. Play cards are the main pastime in the evenings.
Beach bar is the place for those who miss the company, but does not want to go in Tonsai village. The shape of the bar is made of red-breasted front half of the boat and elegantly decorated.

Generally speaking, travelers staying at Long Beach come here for peace and quiet, because there is no tour crowds and day tours (except speedboats running day tours from Phuket), during the day there are things to do, and pretty quiet at night, and those who suffer
