 Imagine coconut beach in Paradise surrounded by mountain cliffs and lush green hills on one side and the emerald waters of the Andaman sea on the other. It is Loh Ba Kao bay, also known as Loh Ba Gao beach - one of the mysteries of Koh Phi Phi island. Loh Ba Kao bay is always not crowded, this beach does not see the tour-boats from Phuket and Ao Nang, there is no deep-water pier and village less than 50 size - but this is actually the main attraction of Loh Ba Kao beach. |

 How to Get to Loh Ba Kao (Gao) beach
|
 Gorgeous Loh Ba Kao beach is located on the east coast of Phi Phi Don island, to the north-east from Tonsai village. In the daytime, given the status of the beach, the drivers of long-tailed boats will ask you to pay not less than 600 Bath per person to take you to Tonsai bay.
There is the overland route to Loh Ba Kao beach, it is quite not difficult and is quite suitable for all ages. The path begins beside Loh Bagao village (signpost - photo right) - half-hour walk along the shady rainforest and 20 min from Hinpoo Bungalows along the east coast of Loh Dalum bay.
Another way, more difficult, begins near the main Tonsai viewpoint. Next,  you need to follow the road, head to the left following the signposts for Rantee beach, it don't need to go down - you need to follow to Phak Nam beach. The path winds along the shore of the hill. The shady path, with a bias towards the north. Go down - you are at Phak Nam beach where Relax The Beach Resort is located. Go through the entire beach and along the rocky shore leave in the southern part of Loh Ba Kao bay. This route will take you over an hour. Keep in mind that go back best first path or by boat.
Loh Ba Kao beach is linked to Laem Tong beach wide pedestrian sidewalk that begins in the northern part of the bay near Aroi Dee restaurant. Easy 25-minute walk will take you to Laem Tong beach.
Loh Lanah bay is within 10-15 minutes from Loh Ba Gao. It is easy dirt road. |

The Beach |
 Loh Ba Kao bay well away from the main tourist area of Phi Phi Don, enjoying the spiritual and calming surroundings fascinating misty light. Here are rarely waves coming from the Andaman sea and the water, depending on the time of day and weather, acquires different shades of emerald green.
Beautiful beach with white sand stretching wide strip from north to south with tall coconut palms. The sand is very soft and the depth of the bay allows safe swimming for small kids.
In the northern end of Loh Ba Kao has a large mangrove lagoon connected to the sea by a narrow channel. Here usually are parked long-tailed boats, which are prohibited stay along the shore, unlike  the others Phi Phi beaches. Mangroves are in crystal-clear water, being a safe haven for huge flocks of small fishes, frolicking between the roots.
The southern end of Loh Ba Gao beach is decorated with a large free-form swimming pool with fountains and a bar. In this place the beach has the greatest width and a lot of shady vegetation. Loh Ba Kao face east and enjoy the sunsets, you will have to lift local viewpoint. |

Loh Ba Kao Beach Restaurants |
 Any other vegetation along the beach is missing and to hide from the sun will help you umbrellas 5 stars Outrigger Phi Phi Island Resort and Spa (aka Phi Phi Island Village Beach Resort & Spa). Sun loungers are provided throughout the length of the beach and in some places between the trunks of coconut palms strung comfortable hammocks.
In the Northern part of Loh Ba Kao beach is Coconut beach bar&grill where often hold a wedding celebration.
Next to the beach bar is Chaba shop. Here you will find a large selection of clothing and footwear, including a beach, hats, bags, silk products, jewelry, souvenirs, cosmetics and essentials. Considering  the status of the beach - expect high
prices. All goods are conveniently laid out and featured in a specific order.
Outrigger Phi Phi Island Resort and Spa has three restaurants and bars. In addition, many restaurants can be found in Loh Ba Kao village and around mangrove lagoon. The prices are much cheaper than in Outrigger, but higher than in Tonsai. Known can advise Thai Aroi Dee restaurant. In the village you will find some mini-marts and massage services. |

Loh Ba Kao beach Activities & Attractions |
 Stunning Loh Ba Kao beach, long about a 500m pretty good for an early morning jog. White and soft sand is a great site for games and fun water activities including kayaking and snorkeling. Along the entire stretch of beach offers sun loungers and hammocks. But if lazy holiday is not to your liking - here for you a list of activities in Loh Ba Kao beach:
- Hiking towards northern part of Phi Phi island to Laem Tong beach. A wide sidewalk about 3 km long starts in the northern part of the Loh Ba Kao, after the bridge through the mangrove lagoon, and ends at the luxurious Holidau Inn Phi Phi Resort. A convenient way runs along the coast, giving you the opportunity to enjoy the sea views to the east of Phi Phi Don.
- Viewpoint at Loh Bakao bay. 200 metre way starts to the left of  Aroi Dee restaurants. Just cross the bridge before you restaurant and head left a few steps begins stage path. The path to the top will take you from 20 to 30 minutes, depending on your training. Flip-flops it is better to change with more robust shoes. On the way up expect breathtaking views of Loh Lanah bay and some Loh Ba Gao vistas.
- Travelling to Loh Lanah beach and Nui bay. Wide Loh Lanah bay is a 10-15 min walk from Loh Ba Gao. After the bridge, go left, next straight and after a hundred meters turn right along a road. There are no hotels and resorts, except for a few frozen at the initial stage of building structures. The beach is crescent-shaped is not entirely devoid of greenery, however you can always here to get quiet solitude or snorkeling near the eastern end. The onward travel to the west will bring you to Nui bay, but first you need to overcome the 40 m pass along a forest path then down to the lovely Nui beach where you will find good snorkeling and views of Camel Rock.
 - Visit to Phak Nam beach, aka Relax beach named in honor Relax Beach Resort. You can get here along the rocky shore for 10-15 minutes, rounding the southern tip of Loh Ba Kao. The journey it is desirable to plan at low tide. Pak Nam beach offers good snorkeling, as well as spectacular pictures of sea Gypsy village located in the northern end of the beach.
